Working With Mermaids, the UK's leading Trans Youth Charity
From idea conception to post-production, we worked with Mermaids, who consulted on the story, script, edit and casting. Mermaids helped us ensure the casting was trans inclusive, and that the story portrayed the film's transgender character's experience in a truthful and positive way.
Mermaids is the UK's leading transgender youth charity and support group. They are passionate about supporting children, young people, and their families to achieve a happier life in the face of great adversity. They campaign for the recognition of gender dysphoria in young people and call for improvements in professional services.
